Chapter Meeting Programs (2021-2022)
Each month, chapter meetings offer a range of programs and speakers. Chapter programs are intended to help educate and inform Daughters and guests about the local, state, and national topics, activities, and events. We are excited for the year ahead!

August
New & Prospective Members Tea
Each year, this Tea offers the pleasure of welcoming new and prospective members to the chapter. The event provides a fun and educational afternoon discussing the mission and activities of the DAR.
September
Education
Brigitte Stephenson, Sanford Museum, Curator -  A brief history of the city of Sanford and its' place in Central Florida.
Constitution Week September 17-24
In honor of the signing of the Constitution, at 4 p.m. on the 17th, we celebrate with "Bells Across America." Special activities at local public schools are held to offer students more information about the U.S. Constitution Week.

Historic Preservation
Central Florida Cemetery Project, Speaker Jennifer Eve. Also, our chapter regents' project and chapter's 2021 National Day of Service project.
November
Native American Heritage Recognition Month
Sharon Eller will continue our education of the history and culture of this community through interpretation of native jewelry.
Chapter members salute Veterans of the USA at activities sponsored by the Volusia Flagler Seminole Regents Council.
December
Annual Holiday Social and Luncheon
This festive event provides an opportunity to celebrate the holiday season and socialize with members and guests.
January
FSSDAR State Regents Project
Florida State Regent Debbie Duay will visit and introduce her project "Creating a Buzz Through Community Service."

February
Annual Youth Awards Ceremony and Tea
Our Annual Youth Awards ceremony recognizes the educational achievements and accomplishments of students in Seminole County.

Women's Issues
To help us learn how to live healthier lives, the American Heart Association, Christy Clelland, will share her passion and show us the benefits of positive behaviors, nutritious eating habits and healthy lifestyles.
April
History
Past Connecticut State Society DAR Regent and Sallie Harrison Chapter member, Joyce Cahill, plans to take us on a journey through Colonial cemeteries.
May
Annual Meeting and Memorial Service
Our annual meeting recognizes the achievements of our members and committees at the state and national levels. A Welcome New Members service for recent members along with a Memorial Service for our Daughters who have passed will be held.
