Programs (2020-2021)
Each month, chapter meetings offer a range of programs and speakers. Chapter programs are intended to help educate and inform Daughters and guests about the local, state, and national topics, activities, and events. We are excited for the year ahead!

August
New & Prospective Members Tea
Each year, this Tea offers the pleasure of welcoming new and prospective members to the chapter. The event provides a fun and educational afternoon discussing the mission and activities of the DAR.
September
Chapter Meeting
FSSDAR State Regent Kay Yarbrough will bring Caroline Scott Harrison's story to the September meeting.
Constitution Week September 17-24
In honor of the signing of the Constitution, at 4 p.m. on the 17th, we celebrate with "Bells Across America." Special activities at local public schools are held to offer students more information about the U.S. Constitution Week.

Patriotism
The DAR Insignia
Cindy Addison, 2017-2019 FSSDAR Historian will introduce us to the new DAR Insignia Store which opened in June, 2020. So, she will help us build and display your collection of beautiful DAR Insignia with pride.

"Patriot Pirates: The Privateer War for Freedom and Fortune in the American Revolution presented by guest speaker B.B Gould, 2019-2020 FSSDAR Chaplain.
Chapter members salute Veterans at the Annual Luncheon Honoring Veterans hosted by Volusia Flagler Seminole Regents Council.

Annual Holiday Potluck Luncheon
This festive event provides an opportunity to celebrate the holiday season and socialize.

Annual Youth Awards Ceremony and Tea
Our Annual Youth Awards ceremony recognizes the achievements and accomplishments of students in Seminole County.

Learn more about the "Irish Immigration Pre - American Revolution" with guest speaker William Morgan.

Women's Issues
Jill Cohen, founder of the Lifeboat Project, which is
dedicated to providing lifelong support for survivors of human trafficking will be  our guest speaker.

May
Annual Meeting and Memorial Service
Our annual meeting recognizes the achievements of our members and committees in state and national activities. A welcome service for new members will be held and we will remember our Daughters who have passed. Installation of New Officers.
