Regular chapter meetings are held on the second Friday of each month from September through May, unless otherwise noted.

Chapter Meeting Programs (2023-2024)
Each month, chapter meetings offer a range of programs and speakers. Chapter programs are intended to help educate and inform Daughters and guests about the local, state, and national topics, activities, and events. We are excited for the year ahead!

August
New & Prospective Members Tea - August
Each year, this Tea offers the pleasure of welcoming new and prospective members to the chapter. The event provides a fun and educational afternoon discussing the mission and activities of the DAR.
September
Constitution Week - September 17-24
In honor of the signing of the Constitution, at 4 p.m. on the 17th, we celebrate with "Bells Across America." Special activities at local public schools are held to offer students more information about the U.S. Constitution Week.
The chapter meeting will be held on Friday, September 15
th.
October
Service in Seconds
On Friday, October 15, the chapter meeting program will address the ways our members are serving our community. .
November
Celebrating the 105th Chapter Anniversary
Native American Heritage Recognition Month

 We welcome FSSDAR State Regent Cindy Addison is our guest  speaker -  "NSDAR Makes a Difference."
Various chapter activities will salute Veterans of the USA during the month.
December
Annual Holiday Social
The chapter Holiday Social will be held on Saturday, December 9th and provides an opportunity to celebrate the holiday season and socialize with members, prospective new members and guests.
January
Education
We will get a glimpse of Colonial Life in Virginia on Friday, January 12, 2024. First-person interpreter "Abigail Adams."

February
Annual Youth Awards Ceremony
Our Annual Youth Awards ceremony on Friday, February 9, 2024 recognizes the educational achievements and accomplishments of students in Seminole County.

America 250th
Chapter Meeting on Friday, April 12, 2024.

Annual Meeting and Memorial Service
Our annual meeting on Saturday, May 4th will recognizes the achievements of our members and committees at the state and national levels. A Welcome New Members service for recent members along with a Memorial Service for our Daughters who have passed will be held.
